چکیده

abstractin order to investigate the effects of the inoculation with p. putida, r. leguminosarum bv. phaseoli and f. mosseae on yield and nutrient uptake of common bean (phaseolus vulgaris l.), a greenhouse experiment in a completely randomized factorial design with 3 treatment including a: microorganism in four level (no inoculation, p. putida, f. mosseae and mix inoculation of fungi and bacteria), b: zn in two level (0 and 10 mg.kg-1) and c: nitrogen in two leve (inoculation with r. leguminosarum and adding 70 mg.kg-1 nitrogen in form of nh4no3) with four replication was conducted. the results of experiment indicated that the concentration of p, k, zn, cu and mn in shoots of plants and shoot dry matter, shoot wet matter, seed dry weight, seed number and thousand seed weight affected by simultaneous inoculation of f. mosseae and p. putida. the concurrent inoculation of f. mosseae + p. putida + r. leguminosarum bv. phaseoli significantly increased the mn concentration in shoots of plants and seed number. uptake of n, p, k, fe, zn, cu and mn significantly affected by synchronous inoculation of f. mosseae and p. putida. the concurrent inoculation of f. mosseae + p. putida + r. leguminosarum bv. phaseoli had no significant effect on nutrient uptake. maximum thousand seed weight was obtained in rhizobium treatment which represents the role of effective and efficient rhizobium bacteria in reduction of nitrogen fertilizers use without yield loss.keywords: iron, seed number, zinc, copper, manganese, growth indices.abstractin order to investigate the effects of the inoculation with p. putida, r. leguminosarum bv. phaseoli and f. mosseae on yield and nutrient uptake of common bean (phaseolus vulgaris l.), a greenhouse experiment in a completely randomized factorial design with 3 treatment including a: microorganism in four level (no inoculation, p. putida, f. mosseae and mix inoculation of fungi and bacteria), b: zn in two level (0 and 10 mg.kg-1) and c: nitrogen in two leve (inoculation with r. leguminosarum and adding 70 mg.kg-1 nitrogen in form of nh4no3) with four replication was conducted. the results of experiment indicated that the concentration of p, k, zn, cu and mn in shoots of plants and shoot dry matter, shoot wet matter, seed dry weight, seed number and thousand seed weight affected by simultaneous inoculation of f. mosseae and p. putida. the concurrent inoculation of f. mosseae + p. putida + r. leguminosarum bv. phaseoli significantly increased the mn concentration in shoots of plants and seed number. uptake of n, p, k, fe, zn, cu and mn significantly affected by synchronous inoculation of f. mosseae and p. putida. the concurrent inoculation of f. mosseae + p. putida + r. leguminosarum bv. phaseoli had no significant effect on nutrient uptake. maximum thousand seed weight was obtained in rhizobium treatment which represents the role of effective and efficient rhizobium bacteria in reduction of nitrogen fertilizers use without yield loss.keywords: iron, seed number, zinc, copper, manganese, growth indices.

Micronutrient uptake in common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) as affected by Rhizobium inoculation, and the supply of molybdenum and lime

Pot and field experiments were done to establish the effect of Rhizobium inoculation, Molybdenum and lime supply on the availability of micronutrients (Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe, B and Mo) in Phaseolus vulgaris L. In both field and pot experiments, Rhizobium inoculation significantly improved uptake of Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, B and Mo in all organs (roots, shoots, pods and whole plants) except the Mo uptake in ro...

On the Origin of the Common Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)

Phylogeographic methods provide the tools to accurately access the geographic origin and diversification of crop species. In the present commentary, I urge the common bean community to face those methods and a tree-thinking mentality with regards to the long standing debate of the origin of common bean. Such efforts will ultimately bring back interest into wild bean studies and reinforce the un...

the effect of rhizobium leguminosarum bv. phaseoli on uptake and tolerance to arsenic in common bean

abstract arsenic (as) contamination of soils is a global problem. legumes are often used in remediation of contaminated sites because of their capacity to fix nitrogen. in the present study, the effects of inoculation of bean (by rhizobium leguminosarum bv. phaseoli) on plant uptake and tolerance to arsenic were investigated. an experiment with a factorial arrangement, two levels of inoculation...
